Spring has arrived in REKA and with it, a garden full of new possibilities! We’re thrilled to reveal Roots & Remedies, the latest free update arriving on May 12th. Whether you’re a budding herbalist or an adventurous apothecary, this update adds a whole new layer of growth, connection, and storytelling to your witchy journey.
Grow Your Own Way
In Roots & Remedies, you’ll find an abundance of new pots, planters, herbs, vegetables, and flowers to unlock and grow. From pumpkins to poppies, these plants aren’t just decorative, they can be used as ingredients in recipes, placed around your hut to embrace the spirit of spring, or brewed into magical concoctions.
Speaking of potions…
The Tonic of Connection
We’ve seen how much you love spending time with your animal companions in REKA and now you’ll be able to talk to them too! With ingredients grown from your own cottage garden, you’ll be able to craft a brand-new potion: the Tonic of Connection. This mystical brew will temporarily allow you to speak to the animals around you; chickens, cats, goats and more! What secrets will they share?
New Quests & Woodland Wonders
Step outside your hut and explore a world that’s come alive with new points of interest, villagers in need, and curious woodland encounters. There’s even an enigmatic travelling artist who might just be convinced to part with their precious paintings… for the right trade.
A Fresh Look & Smoother Experience
The update also brings UI improvements, including a newly designed radial menu to make item switching more intuitive and seamless. You’ll also find new animations, fresh details in the environment, and even more tools to help you express your inner witch.
